This was was a catalogue produced for Dellal Projects, encompassing a new body of work by Alex Hoda. It was produced in conjunction with a Solo show in Berlin, held in a disused space in April of 2011. All of the works we shot on location at the artists studio in Notting Hill, London. Using a mixture of starkly coloured flash light and the coolness of the early morning light, the forms within the work resonate against the marbling of the studio walls. These works naturally lend themselves to a contrasted image. The warms and cools work to push the copper finish of the sculptures.
